David Finch, a beloved friend and colleague in our digital community, passed away Feb. 28 after a brief illness. Finch was the Director of Content at Doe-Anderson and a former board member of the Louisville Digital Association. His passing was sudden and has taken all of us by surprise. He was an incredible person, friend, husband and father. David’s widow, Tammy, was also a contributor to the LDA in our early days as an organization.
The Louisville Digital Association is collecting donations to be funneled to the Finch family to contribute to a college fund for David and Tammy’s daughters, Cayli and Carryn. Please consider joining us in paying tribute to David with a donation of your choosing on our donation page. All proceeds will go directly to the Finch family to support the girl’s education.
As a follow-up to this tribute, the LDA is planning a more lasting way to memorialize David. We will share that news at a later date.
To all who knew him, our hearts hurt with you. To those who did not, we are sorry you did not have the honor. He was truly a remarkable man, a dear friend and an enthusiastic advocate for our community.
Rest in peace, Finchy. We love you.
