The Now Revolution Comes To Louisville

The authors of the hot new book on social business The Now Revolution: 7 Shifts To Make Your Business Faster, Smarter and More Social will highlight the March gathering of the Louisville Digital Association. Renown bloggers-turned-authors Jay Baer and Amber Naslund will make a rare joint appearance on their Now Revolution Book Tour at the Louisville Visual Art Association at the Water Tower (3005 River Road in Louisville) on Tuesday, March 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The first 150 people in who RSVP and are in attendance will receive a free copy of the book, courtesy of KeepioExploringSocialMedia and the LDA.

The Now Revolution operationalizes social media across the organization,” said Louisville Digital Association co-founder Jason Falls. “The book has just hit shelves, but I think this could be one of the more significant business books of 2011 because it makes social make sense to business people. Having Jay and Amber here together to explain it all is a rare opportunity. We hope the business community joins us in the learning.”

The Now Revolution - Jay Baer and Amber NaslundBaer, a veteran digital marketer and author of the digital marketing blog Convince and Convert, and Naslund, Vice-President for Social Strategy for Radian6, a social media monitoring platform, and author of Brass Tack Thinking, will discuss their “7 Shifts” which include advice on how to realign your organization internally, hire for the new era of communications and measure your organization's success.

“This book and this event are opportunities I would recommend for any business owner, manager or even entrepreneur,” explained Falls. “The big question marks a lot of business folks have about the world of social media is how to operationalize it, hire for it and bring it into the company culture. This book and Jay and Amber's presentation offers answers that others before it have not.”

The event will include hors d'ouevres and a cash bar. It is free and open to the public, but interested parties should RSVP using the form on the Louisville Digital Association's website at http://louisvilledigital.org.

The first 150 RSVPs in attendance will receive free copies of The Now Revolution, courtesy of Keepio, a Louisville-based start-up that allows users to catalog and share their belongings with trusted networks to buy, sell, trade or share in a true social commerce experience; ExploringSocialMedia.com, a new learning community for social media, digital marketing an online communication headed by Falls and headquartered in Louisville; and the Louisville Digital Association.
